Situated in the south of Pasadena, Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda Fountain is a restaurant where nostalgic diners realize their fantasy. When you come to the restaurant, you will feel like you are back in the 1950s Rockwell film, where innocent-looking teenagers taste classic ice cream sundaes or homemade milkshakes. The restaurant opened in 1915 on the old Route 66. In addition to snacks, the restaurant also offers American-style grilled cheese sandwiches or hamburgers, where guests can taste delicious in a quaint environment.

We dined here for a family birthday celebration. It was an excellent choice. The deep fried Catfish in ponzu sauce is one of their specialties, it did not disappoint. It was large enough for an entree portion for two to three people. The duck was another excellent dish. We purchased one bottle of chardonnay, and brought a second bottle of our own, if you purchase one bottle of wine they will not charge corkage on the bottle you bring. Service is good and unobtrusive (unlike most restaurants today). The ambiance is quiet and zenlike.

The restaurant is in Pasadena. The atmosphere is good, the dishes are delicious, and the most important thing is that the price is cheap. The restaurant feels like hiding in a private house, surrounded by quiet, like Western food, you can come and taste the taste of his home.
